Timothy W. Caldwell, Counselor at Law, has over 30 years of experience in the Upper Valley and since 1997, has concentrated his practice on estate planning and settlement. He graduated cum laude from Dartmouth College and earned his Juris Doctorate from Georgetown University Law Center. He served as chair and member of the Lyme School Board, the New England Nordic Ski Association, the Upper Valley Planned Giving Council, and was instrumental in establishing LeaveALegacy®NH/VT. Tim is also a Respecting Choices® Advance Care Planning Certified Facilitator. Currently he serves as a Regional Advisor to the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation and is a coach for the Ford Sayre Cross Country Ski Team.
Prior to practicing law, Tim was a competitive cross country skier. He competed in four Olympics and three World Championships. He and his wife, Margaret, a recently retired Social Studies teacher at Hanover High School and now involved in multiple community organizations have lived in Lyme Center since 1989. Margaret and Tim have three children: Lucy, lives in London and is a Manager for Deloitte Digital, Heidi is the Director of Running Programs at the Craftsbury Outdoor Center and Patrick works for Redeux Energy in Denver developing utility scale solar and battery projects. The family enjoys a variety of activities including skiing, hiking, swimming and spending time with friends and relatives.

Renée A. Harvey, Counselor at Law, has worked in the New York, Vermont and New Hampshire legal systems since 1990. She is a graduate of Vermont Law School and is licensed to practice law in the state and federal courts of Vermont and New Hampshire. Her practice focuses on estate planning and settlement, assisting clients with making informed decisions. She is a Respecting Choices® Advance Care Planning Certified Facilitator and she is a certified mediator. Renée also serves on the New Hampshire Bar Association’s Dispute Resolution Committee, the Patient Choices Vermont Advisory Committee, and is a lecturer at various local institutions. She is the managing partner of Caldwell Law.
Rebekah is a Legal Assistant and Client Intake Specialist who serves as one of the first points of contact for the firm. She answers calls, greets clients, and helps guide them through the first steps of the estate planning process with warmth and clarity.
Rebekah earned her degree in Media Studies and Journalism from the University of San Francisco. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, hiking, and skiing, and at home she’s kept company by her tuxedo cat.
Stephanie is a Legal Assistant who supports the firm with organization, client service, and daily legal operations. She was born and raised in the Upper Valley, where she also raised her two children and remains deeply connected to the community.
Outside of work, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her family, baking, hiking, crafting, and working on puzzles. She loves exploring new places with her husband, usually with their two dogs by their side.
