Join attorney Renée Harvey of Caldwell Law at the Aging Resource Center for a “Helper” training session.

Helpers are those we appoint as our agents for financial affairs and health care, executors of our will and trustees of our trust. At this session you and your Helpers will learn how your estate plan is supposed to work if you lose capacity and after your death. The discussion is designed to help your Helpers better understand their roles – we encourage you to attend with them, as well as with other loved ones and caregivers. We will review the Helper roles and responsibilities. Do your Helpers know what to do? Do they know what your wishes are? What happens if they cannot act for you when you need them? They will have the opportunity to hear about typical issues and problems which can be addressed by adequate planning. Plan for you AND plan for them.
