Annual Client Meeting
May 19 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
THIS EVENT WILL NOW BE VIRTUAL ONLY
Given the rise in positive Covid numbers, we have taken the decision to hold our ACM virtually via Zoom ONLY.
We are excited to let you know that our guest speaker this year is Jay Sherwin. We were lucky enough to have Jay come earlier this year to talk about Legacy Letter writing and he will be in person at our ACM at the Hilton Garden Inn.
A legacy letter (also called an “ethical will”) is a written document that allows you to share your life lessons, express your values and transmit your blessings to future generations. A legacy letter is shorter than a memoir, typically just a few pages. Writing one is a rewarding experience that creates an enduring gift for family, friends and other loved ones.
Come and hear Jay discuss ways to help you examine your life history, explore your values and capture important insights. He will offer advice, encouragement and a model structure to help you draft and complete your own legacy letter.
In a long and varied career, Jay Sherwin has practiced law, given away money for five charitable foundations, worked as a philanthropy consultant and served as a hospital chaplain. Drawing on all those experiences, Jay created the Life Reflections Project to educate people about legacy letters and ethical wills; he now teaches classes and workshops on legacy writing and helps people craft their own legacy documents.
Jay was born in Worcester, Massachusetts and has lived all over the country, including a decade in the San Francisco Bay Area. He now lives in Portland, Maine. You can read more about Jay and the Life Reflections Project on his website at www.jaysherwin.com.
We look forward to seeing you via ZOOM on May 19! Sign up below.
